Yes, we have the Free Republic but we are an aging (and oftentimes grouchy) bunch who don't mind living in Internet 1.0 and we tell most newcomers to "get off our lawn" so to speak so our growth potential here is somewhat limited.
Unfortunately conservatives tend to ridicule and belittle any alternative platform that attempts to play in the same sandbox as Twitter and Facebook.
The only alternative platform I see getting mostly good reviews is Rumble (which is more of a YouTube competitor) but YouTube is so far ahead of Rumble that it hardly gets noticed.
It's not going to be easy to compete with the Leftist-dominated oligarchy of "Big Tech" but conservatives are going to have to start supporting some of these upstarts and not just treating them with disdain and mockery.
I agree. Often times conservatives tend to throw out the baby with the bath water. Sometimes we can be our own worst enemy.
Many of the same voices denouncing people like Mike Lindell often complain that no one is stepping up to the plate on behalf of conservatives.
Lindell, just like anyone else, is not perfect. But I,ll take a thousand just like him who have the fortitude and the will to put everything on the line in his attempts to salvage whats left of America.
Actually, Rumble is now catching up fast. And I agree, they will not grow without more support.
