Given the political and military situation in the world today, I don’t think there’s any place on the planet where one’s security against violence can be assured. That said, I’m thinking of emigrating to one of the eastern European countries, or one of the Baltic states. Malta is another possibility. But hey, I’m not naive, there are problems to be faced everywhere.

I’m not sure that it’s a desire to get away from violence as much as it is to just be somewhere where things make sense - no PC, no lies from leaders, no tearing down of traditions and country, no labeling of others who have different opinions. The list is really endless. BUT if there are politicians alive anywhere in the world, the rest is sure to follow. So it’s really a hollow desire.. Stay and fight as best we can, I guess.
