This massive screwup in Afghanistan, I keep thinking where have we seen this kind of incompetence before in government. Was it incompetence or planned. I believe planned because it went down all too easy & convenient. So what’s the end game here I ask myself. Then it hit me, this “incompetence” reminds me so much of the Gorelick “Wall” just before 9/11. We really need to be on our toes.
FWIW, I came to despise Jamie Gorelick whether she built the “Wall” due to incompetence or on purpose. No accountability for her either and SHE GOT TO SIT ON THE 9/11 COMMISSION!. Yes, I despise her with a passion.
I did go look at her bio to see what she’s done post-9/11. Looks like she served on the Fanny Mae board a few years before the housing crisis/financial meltdown. Then she went on to be a lawyer for Jared Kushner’s businesses (it’s like WTH?). After that she had a lead role in the Russia Collusion case against President Trump till she left in July, 2017.
With people like her in DC, I just wonder what they are setting us up for.
