Ok my friends, what to do? When the weather gets cold I'll leave N. Cal. Foreign travel is out. Airbnb for monthly/weekly stays is ok. Got a pickup. Where to go this winter without being treated as an unvaccinated leper?
Make like you are a homeless person and nobody will bother you. Wear some shabby clothes and mutter to yourself. Even the Karen mask nazis will keep their distance.
Speaking of which, I can report that the homeless population in NYC is as vibrant as ever. I thought for sure that the "big bad virus" would get them first and decimate their numbers but they appear to be thriving in their blissful, maskless, unvaccinated state of being. Maybe we all need to take a lesson from them.
Planet Fitness premium membership gets you into any location. I pay $20/mo for mine.

Georgia or Florida for the winter.
Stay away from family weddings.
OKLAHOMA!!!
Relatively pandemic free

But wait, is there anything in OK to see or do that’s worth driving all the way there from CA?
Key Largo FL
You need to watch out for the “Lot Lizards” there...

Blue sky instead of orange for one.
I’d get on a Full timer RV forum if you have FB. You’ll find places to go in no time.
Some truck stops reserve shower facilities for truckers who buy fuel there.
I have to say, try Colorado. Outside of major cities, it’s pretty conservative. Plus, cannabis is legal if you’re into that. :P
Avoid IL at all costs. It gets cold AF here, sales taxes are insane, and so are fuel prices. Masking everywhere is going to start again on Monday (I’m refusing) and I’m sure it will only become more extreme once winter comes.
The only reason I’ll wear a mask now is if it’s cold out. That’s it. It’s an extra layer under my scarf and neoprene mask.
