Do you work for Pfizer? I looked at your multiple posts and you have been touting the MRNA line.
Speaking of Pfizer the former VP and head of research is anti the use of this MRNA shot, it is not a vaccine. He is not an antivaxer and is very much in favor of vaccines. MRNA tech does not create a vaccine. He knows a hell of a lot more about this MRNA shot than I or anyone posting on this board.
I am not an antivaxer. Due to my age (73) I took the Pfizer shot. At the time the risk benefit ratio seemed worth the risk. I was wrong on that analysis. I myself suffered no ill effects as of yet. The stats are slowly coming in on mild to fatal reactions to the shot. I wish I had of waited for the Johnson and Johnson vaccine. It is a true vaccine and offers much more protection to the Delta variety and those to come after delta. It also has risk factors but the risk benefit ratio is acceptable.
It should be noted that Japan is now using and recommending the use of ivermectin. You ranted against its use and you are wrong. Should one use the horse paste? Hell no. Should one use the injectable 1% version but take it by mouth not injected? If you know what you are doing and understand how to dose it, it is very safe.
Ivermectin has a wide therapeutic index and previous studies have shown doses up to 2000 mcg/kg (ie, 10 times the US Food and Drug Administration approved dose) are well tolerated and safe; the highest dose used for onchocerciasis is a single dose of 800 mcg/kg.
For covid we are using 200 mcg/kg dosing. If you do not know what a microgram is you will probably screw up your dosing, do not do it.

That’s one of the oldest internet strategies to cast doubt on someone’s credibility by accusing them of a having a financial interest. Not so. I’ve never worked for a biological or pharmaceutical corporation.
I’m not touting the mRNA line. I am posting facts that contradict the false and misleading information posted by the anti-vaxxer cult.

This statement contains several misstatements.
Yeardon was not the former VP and head of research for Pfizer. Yeardon was a vice president and chief scientific officer for Pfizer’s United Kingdom-based allergy and respiratory unit until that unit shut down in 2011.
And just to be clear, the division had nothing to do with vaccines or infectious diseases. It was focused on developing drugs to treat asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
Yeardon is a conspiracy kook. For example: he has claimed the vaccines are a conspiracy to depopulate the world.
The mRNA vaccines are vaccines. The anti-vaxxers promulgate the false statement that they are not in a blatant attempt to cast doubt on the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines by refusing to acknowledge they fit the definition of a vaccine. Vaccine, “a substance used to stimulate the production of antibodies and provide immunity against one or several diseases, prepared from the causative agent of a disease, its products, or a synthetic substitute, treated to act as an antigen without inducing the disease.

It should also be noted that the countries that have recommended the use of ivermectin have withdrawn their recommendation because of a lack of credible evidence that ivermectin is effective in treating COVID.
For example:
There is very little to support the effectiveness of ivermectin (or HCQ) for that matter.
Here’s a couple of articles that directly address the shortcomings of this “Sad Lesson”:
No data available to suggest a link between India’s reduction of COVID-19 cases and the use of ivermectin
“Given the short span of time between the release of the guideline and the beginning of the decline in daily cases, specifically ten days, as well as the significant size of India’s territory and population, it seems highly unlikely that this guideline would have led to a nationwide uptake of ivermectin by a significant enough number of patients to already impact the evolution of the daily number of new cases.”
And, since the anti-vaxxers like Youtube videos:
Indian govt ditches most popular drugs in new COVID-19 treatment plan | Ivermectin | Doxycycline
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3efhzEeFVjg
Or in text format:
The Union Health Ministry and Family Welfare’s directorate general of health services (DGHS) has issued revised guidelines to stop the use of Ivermectin and Doxycycline in Covid-19 treatment. The new guidelines have dropped all medicines, except antipyretic and antitussive, for asymptomatic and mild cases.
It’s really amusing that the anti-vaxxers rant about the vaccines not be fully approved but are all in favor of drugs not approved to treat COVID.
It occurred to me the other day that discussions such as we have on Free Republic are outright banned on Facebook and Twitter, the “mother’s milk” of social discourse, it seems, for most Americans. Combine this with what the media is pumping out and the Chinese with TikTok and people have to be horribly confused.
It appears that, so far, The Powers That Be have not been able to shut down FR. So, I think it looks like the course being followed is to flood it with disinformation.
This takes, I think, two forms. There are the happy voices, supporting the messages of TPTB, just like the media. For the vax, this means repeating endlessly its wonderful “effectiveness”, even though it hasn’t stopped this virus anywhere it is being used, and those “vaccinated” still get infected and spread the disease.
The other voice flooding FR with disinformation are the crazies, supporting TPTB by throwing up straw men and preventing meaningful discussion. For the vax, this means things like it “magnetizing” you. For other COVID remedies it means ridiculing their use, even as proper medical usage is blocked by blatant politics.
The end result can be almost as effective as what Facebook, Twitter and the rest of them are doing.
I miss the Viking Kittens.
We must hide any evidence and research that cheap, common, and safe drugs are effective. The government must never admit they made a mistake and let the people decide for themselves. Gotta trust the government funded scientists and vaccinate the entire population so Fauci and his merry band of crooks can pound their chests saying they saved the world.
