Get this... There was refurbished home used by the international church in Kabul. The Afghan caretakers continued to protect the property while the Soviets and Taliban were in charge. A mortar hit the building and they put out the fire. When the international Christians (working in NGOs) returned, nothing had been touched and everything was caked with thick layers of dust.
