Part of the heroic O5 / O6s that will never make General.
There aren’t a lot of O6s in that category.
But there are quite a few 03, 04, & 05s that have and will soon be sending out resumes to find their post military job, after realizing that after 20 years, their common sense and dedication to the folks below them, mean nothing to the folks on the promotion boards and in the Pentagon.
No different than everything that has taken place in law enforcement, at every level, for the last 20-25 years.
