Zahab Kamal Khan last cut her hair when she was 13 years old. Now, she's 30. She credits her grandmother's oil for helping keep her hair healthy. She applies it twice a week.
Khan set the record for a new category: "most hair donated to a charity by an individual."
She has decided to donate her hair to children with hair loss.

In college my oldest niece had long, thick blonde hair that ended somewhere below her butt. She’s close to 6 ft tall and it was like a big golden rope. Not quite Guinness record material but impressive all the same. She donated hers as well.

Last month when I was on camp staff, my husband took our older sons (and the 12-year-old) to the zoo. He texted me, “Bill has a girlfriend!” Bill’s our oldest son, 27. “Oh? I thought Bill was too self-absorbed for that.”
“It’s his cat. He talked about her all day and kept showing us pictures and wondering how she was doing all day.”
