I was in St. Augustine a few years ago. Spent three days there. Even looked at some of the residential areas. Touristy? Yes but it was still cool to see so much history in such a compact area.
So, where are the bad areas of St Augustine?
Away from the water. When you see shitty little houses painted purple, and blacks riding beach cruisers while wearing “wife beaters”, you’re there.
