The majority, who are vaccinated, should not have to pay the price (including the increased health risk, slow down in the economy and lack of hospital beds) for a small minority of people who, for no good reason, are not getting vaccinated. If government makes rules for second hand smoke and seat belts, it should be doing the same in this public health crisis.

jotato, fauxi, and the cdc recommending vaccines for our citizens to stop the spread of a virus while jotato opens the border, invites, welcomes, and freely spreads hundreds of thousands of disease carrying invaders across our country during a “global pandemic” reeks of hypocrisy and proves our government officials don’t care about our health and safety...

why should we trust these people???...

Your illogic floors me.
The countries with the most vaccinated % of inhabitants, have the worst rates of COVID-19 infection, hospitalization and death. Israel is one easy example but the correlation between increasing vaccination status & COVID burden is clearly demonstrated across most of the globe. Even in USA the states with the highest % of vaccinations have worse statistics.

To blame the unvaccinated & pretend that we could eliminate COVID-19 and the economic distortions if all were vaccinated reflects the worst kind of wishful thinking and complete disregard for the science including the effect of variants, which are driven by the immunization campaign, and the inability of the vaccine to protect against variants and even the original strain. Breakthrough infections vary between strains, between vaccines and depending on individual genetics & health but as proven by recent studies the vaccinated function as spreaders since they carry 250X the virus burden in their nares.

Immunization campaigns during pandemics are contraindicated. That is a bedrock principle of infectious disease literature. That it is being ignored testifies to the total disregard the Left has for humanity’s welfare when in pursuit of their personal goals.

In every state there are constitutional exemptions to forced vaccination for religious and other. It’s called the bill of rights. Blaming oppressive government diktats on us is like blaming the victims of rape. I served as an officer in the US Military to defend our constitution. I will exercise that right if people like you try to force a medical experiment on my kids. ;-)

You assume those who don’t get the shot have no reason when in fact they certainly have plenty of reasons to decline the shot.

You sound like one who would embrace Government control over anything you think satisfies how you determine what is best for the “collective”.....which flies in the face of our freedoms and individuality to determine our own life and responsibility for whatever we choose.
