Over on patriots.win, somebody posted a meme that featured a picture of General Eisenhower with a small row of medals on his chest, and General Milley with a thousand rows of medals on his chest. The point of the meme was that General Eisenhower won the war in Europe with only a few medals over his heart, while Milley and the rest of the pompous assholes in the Pentagon, have row upon row of medals, but aren't capable of winning any war. I couldn't find the meme again on patriots.win, but did come across it on a search:

perfect...
It appears that most of his medals are either “I was there” or staff awards.
He does have “Bronze Star Medal with three bronze oak leaf clusters”. However, I once had a 3-star Army general tell me our team of tunnel rats “would get Bronze Stars and promotion to sergeant”. (that never happened)
His next personal decorations are :”Army Commendation Medal with four bronze oak leaf clusters; Army Achievement Medal with one bronze oak leaf cluster;”
There is no mention of the Combat V on any of the three medals. The photo is not sharp enough to tell.
