As a former Ag guy, our high school was built on a farm that was purchased by the school district. The Ag classes and Future Farmers farmed the place, and bred and showed purebred Yorkshire hogs. While the teats on a boar hog are of no direct use by him, they still are important. Most boar piglets are castrated and fattened for slaughter. But a few are selected to be kept or sold as herd sires. These are meticulously examined for flaws, and their nipples are actually counted. They need to have at least 12 nipples to be a herd sire, because that is one trait they will pass on to their daughters.
You are significantly over estimating them.
