There was certainly more to the story than we will ever know. To ask means you’re a conspiracy nut. So even her family doesn’t ask. The media spent all of three news cycles attacking her mental health because she had recently gone off medicine. She was a hard-working young lady with a few bouts of depression here and there in her 34 years. Who among us, I dare ask?
She didn’t randomly drive to the White House. Her friends say she went to see Obama. She had a mission. At the blossoming of the SpyGate investigations, before anyone really knew anything, this woman told people she was going to see Obama to tell him to stop spying on her. She may have been nuttier than a fruitcake as the media insists, but she told people she heard his voice. She wanted to ask him to leave her alone. Isn’t that nuts? Media said aren’t we lucky she never got to Obama? Capitol Police did their job. Media said this should draw more attention to women’s health issues……but a funny thing happened on the way to that women’s health forum. It never happened.
Three or 4 news cycles and poof! Autopsy showed she was not intoxicated or on drugs. She was unarmed.
Tsk tsk poor girl. Baby in the back seat will grow up learning of this gruesome event in her life.
If history is always right, Miriam Carey met Obama when he arbitrarily stopped in at a dental clinic where she worked as a dental hygienist. He had been attending an event in Connecticut and somehow the shell of a nut lodged in between his teeth. It was uncomfortable. He sought to have a dentist remove it.
He and Miriam became fast friends. Story ends with her going crazy a year or so later and being gunned down in Washington DC? Whew! Big screen please! “Miriam Carey Women’s Mental Health Foundation” at least.
Interesting angle I hadn’t heard before.
Maybe she realized the face of evil, but couldn’t rationalize what was really taking place that sent her on a mission.
