I was hoping you were going to post what you found about the polio vaccine. I found the following article from some research done in 2015. I’m not sure this is a complete summary of polio vaccine deaths, but just the major incident with a bad batch of vaccine that had LIVE polio virus in it. A total of TEN people died!! “One of the worst pharmaceutical disasters in US history” according to the article.

In the era of modern medicine, some of the first concerns about vaccines causing death date to isolated, but high profile past vaccine safety incidents. The “Cutter Incident” in 1955 involved a flaw in the Salk polio vaccine manufacturing process at Cutter Laboratories that led to production of substantial amounts of what was thought to be inactivated vaccine that contained live poliovirus. The result has been called “…one of the worst pharmaceutical disasters in US history”[11], with 40,000 cases of polio resulting in 51 cases of permanent paralysis and five deaths among vaccinated individuals, and 113 cases of paralysis and five deaths among contacts of vaccinated individuals [11,12].
I am aware of the Cutter incident. If the hysteria we see about the exaggerated claims of today’s vaccines occurred with the Polio vaccine, we would have stopped vaccinating for Polio. Imagine the devastation of that plague. I for one walked down the corridors of St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tacoma lined with Polio victims in iron lungs. I saw a kid my age (12 years old) with only his head sticking out and a mirror to see out with. That had to be adjusted by a nurse because his arms were inside the machine. Imagine the cost to keep him alive. Polio was highly contagious.
Fortunately the citizens of America in those days recognized the value of the Salk Vaccine and were willing to overlook its side effects. As a result, Polio is considered an eradicated disease in most of the world other than places in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Africa until recently was struggling with wild polio outbreaks. Because of he efforts of people like Bill Gates, Polio in Africa is just about eradicated. If we didn’t have the boneheads spreading misinformation causing COVID vaccine resistance, we would be well on our way to eradication of COVID.
