I do too. Either P365 or G19 depending on what I am dressing for. Im just saying when the lead is flying, you shouldnt need to worry about the cash value of what you are going to turn over to authorities once its over. OTOH, I dont want be bleeding out because my “got this on sale, only $199.95” failed to feed.
The New Max-9 is very compact.
There is also a new LCP Max that is even smaller.
I don’t buy crap guns, but my fancy ones only go to the range.
How is that a good gun? He didn’t hit anyone after firing 15 rounds. Most Chicagoans seem to have that part worked out.
Sounds like he violated the cardinal rule, always get the best you can.
I carry a CZ .32 I paid $139 for. The trigger pull is perfect for my hand and it is accurate. I show off my Sig at the range. I have a snake-eyes 410/45 Colt derringer for home defense. I paid $50 for that.
It didn’t say what he was shooting at. Perhaps he was shooting clouds.
Well, Wicker Park is “trendy” and “hip”, but if you walk 2 blocks south you’re at the projects, and if you walk a little ways east on North Ave, you’ll see crack whores plying their trade. The “hip” area is really about 1 block in any direction around the train station and even then I’d get out by sundown.
Yeah, I made a wrong turn and got lost over in that area years ago. Yikes!
The Security 9 is $350, a little large for concealed carry, but a good gun for not a lot of money.
That’s why I carry a Glock. I can easily afford to lose it. I would hate to lose an HK or a Sig.
Did a quick search and got this: https://ruger.com/products/security9/models.html
I like the (old, they don’t make it anymore) Ruger P85 MK-II and have no problems with CCW in a shoulder rig. I can carry that with 17+1 loaded plus 2 35 Round Mags under loose shirt or a jacket without “printing”
We got Mama a SCCY CPX-2 NIB at the local Pawn Shop for $200
https://www.sccy.com/product/cpx-2-tt-9mm/
and She loves it.
I prefer My 1911 7+1 and 6 Mags (7 Round) and it all fits nice in the RoloWalker Seat. I like the extra power. John Browning was a Genius.
DROOOOOL.....
Almost what I did to My old Ruger P85 MK-II except I did Fish-scale pattern.
100% a real semi B-B-Q gun
If you ever need to use it, your legal bills will probably be in the neighborhood of $100K, so losing your gun will be the least of your issues.
I'd rather have a gun which is (1) reliable and accurate as hell, and (2) has enough power and capacity to stop a deadly threat. If I lose it after it has accomplished its purpose, then oh well.
Another consideration to be aware of, is if you are involved in a shooting you may lose your gun, and NOT BE ABLE to buy a replacement. Being "under indictment" on felony charges will cause you to fail the NICS background check
So, have at least one spare. And keep it where it will not be confiscated if cops search your house.
Used only to start the Grille by Tannerite Trigger😇
