You’re wasting your time. There are still some here who even believe COVID is not real.

I thought the same until I saw the monster last year. Save your breath and let them see the monster for themselves. That is when they will abandon their silly little conspiracies about magnetized what-not from who-knows-where.

As for what President Trump said, good! He is trying to save lives. Also, as someone else said, personal choice works both ways. If people don’t want to be vaccinated, great. But that also means if people want to be vaccinated, also great. People can select the risks they are willing to take.

Remember those silly zombie movies where at the beginning people say ‘it’s nothing’, until the monsters start bursting through their front door? Then suddenly everyone is running to load the 12 gauge?

Something like that will happen. Give it time. Save your breath. Sooner or later they will see the monsters themselves. Phil Valentine’s brother saw the monster, and is now telling people to be careful (Mark Valentine also claims Phil changed his tune before he died and was advocating people protect themselves, but anyone who believes silly hoax videos claiming people are getting ‘magnetized’ will not believe that is not some media trick).

So, let them be. Maybe there’s nothing to worry about. COVID is big real, President Trump is a ‘dumbass’ according to Alex, and the moon is made of cheese.

Or, let them see the monster. For some it’s a cute little kitty cat monster that just gives a bad cold. They are lucky. For others it’s microbiological Gehenna. They are not lucky. Let them see the monster.

I actually know some FReepers who were quite vocal who have become very silent. They saw it. Let others see it too. They too will go silent.

I’m a vax skeptic and not a denier

I wholly support anyone getting vaxxed....I was looking into it when I had the test done...the fancy 72 hour one..120 bucks

We all had it 05/2020....it sure seemed like it..

Those around us had it verified and our symptoms were similar so we figured yep this is it

We took copious plaquenil and zpaks and vile zinc syrup

It worked for us ..I was barely sick 36 hours

My vaping wife and asthmatic oldest son sick like bad flu and mild flu....respectively

The other four not so bad...

My son in law got very sick

My 95 year old wwii vet uncle died

My 90 year old former mil died

My 85/86 year old Texas ranching aunt uncle survived....with my help on meds

I also passed out meds here to a dozen folks..I had a stash

Anyhow...I know of three folks middle aged with no comorbidity who died....

I do think the vax csn have side effects.....I’ve not known anyone super sick from them....

I chose to get the vaccine because I have asthma. Three weeks ago, I was having breakfast with my brother (who also got vaccinated), his son (not vaccinated), and the son’s friend (also not vaccinated). The restaurant was not busy and as a result, we were there nearly two hours at a very small table. Therefore, we were in very close proximity to each other. Two days later my nephew was diagnosed with Covid. A week later his friend was diagnosed with Covid. Neither my brother or I were affected. Was it the vaccine that protected us, or were we just lucky? Believe what you want, but I do believe the vaccine played at least some part in the reason we didn’t get Covid and they did.

I am completely against mandates. It should be a personal choice between patient and doctor. Just as those have a right to refuse, and should not be made fun of or punished; those that choose to have it should not be criticized for their decision either. It’s a personal choice. Everyone’s personal choice should be respected.

As far as side effects, all drugs have side effects (some people get them, others have no problem), some very serious; others not so much. One must weight the benefits against the side effects and made a decision. The important thing here is it should be the individuals choice.
