No, I was on the thread when Owen was surprisingly released. But it was odd, you could see it on Owen's face when he said he was turning himself in, he had a look of disgronification 'why am I going in when I was following Blowhard and this is going to cost me 10 bills minimum'?
The skinny was Owen was still under a deferred prosecution agreement (and Jones wasn't) to stay away from the Capitol for his 2019 impeachment hearing po'test, but apparently counsel pushed back hard: this guy was press, he was a journalist, the dpa won't stick, let him go; and they did.
The whole thing was a trial run to arrest Jones. Presumably they won't, now that there are 2 or 3 defense lawyers who suddenly discovered invitation is an absolute defense to trespass, after Nanzi started going after people who never went inside and never touched one of the USCP proles nor broke anything.
