Alex Jones blasts Trump as 'dumbass' over vaccines

Conservative talk show host Alex Jones slammed former President Trump after the 45th president encouraged people at an Alabama rally to get vaccinated against COVID-19.

A clip from the Aug. 22 taping of InfoWars appears to show Jones accusing the former president of heralding the vaccine for political gain and bowing to media pressure.

“Shame on you, Trump. Seriously. Hey, if you don’t have the good sense to save yourself and your political career, that’s OK,” the InfoWars host said.

“At least you’re going to get some good Republicans elected, and we like you,” Jones added. “But, my God, maybe you’re not that bright. Maybe Trump’s actually a dumbass.”

Speaking at a rally in Cullman, Ala., Trump said he respected the attendees' freedoms, but he suggested a vaccine could be good for them, saying “I did it. It’s good. Take the vaccines.”

A smattering of boos rang out from the crowd following Trump’s recommendation. Yet the former president, who has been criticized for not openly touting COVID-19 vaccines, continued, seemingly unfazed.

“Now, that’s OK. That’s all right. You got your freedoms,” Trump said. “But I happen to take the vaccine. If it doesn’t work, you’ll be the first to know. OK? I’ll call up Alabama and say, ‘Hey, you know what?’ But it is working.”

The Alabama Department of Public Health released data on Monday that shows 89.8 percent of COVID-19 cases and 94.1 percent of COVID-19 deaths from April 1 to Aug. 18 occurred among the state’s unvaccinated population.

Currently, just more than half of the U.S. population is fully vaccinated, while nearly 61 percent have received at least one vaccine dose, according to data from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

I had downloaded the speech and proceeded to watch it.

I must say I was sadly disappointed. No wonder everyone was silent.

It was a “DUD!”. The 2020 campaign is OVER! Maybe not quite the election, but the campaign IS!

It was a MISTAKE! While many were saved, many got sick, some died. Big pharma, WHO, CDC, NIH, and others convinced us the vaccines were completely safe, when they are not.

Every day, more and more studies reveal detrimental effects of these vaccines, while every day, more and more therapeutics and treatments make risky vaccines unnecessary.

I said from the start I would rather the therapeutics and treatments paths was taken, but the “experts” assured me that vaccines were the way to go and if I continued to pursue therapeutics like Hydroxychloroquine that the pharmaceutical companies wouldn’t make the necessary investments in vaccines.

My gut was right, but I listened to the experts and believed they would quickly produce, safe, and effective vaccines.

They only partially succeeded.

Introducing a new vaccine during a pandemic is always ill advised. It encourages variants as we have seen.

So I am suggesting a “pause” on a new round of vaccines “boosters”, until we do some more research. I also am against so called COVID passports or any mandatory vaccinations for ANYONE!

If you choose to get the vaccine, you still can, but employers, healthcare workers, college students, all students, our military, and all others should not be “forced” to take a vaccine they don’t want, in order to keep their jobs or remain in school.

It is UN-AMERICAN to do so.

I will stand with those who choose to be vaccinated and I will stand with those that don’t.

Comorbidity is the easiest way to pump the numbers. If someone dies from complications caused by an existing illness/disease... the death is recorded as a COVID death. If someone falls off a latter and breaks their neck the coroner is required to test for COVID. If positive... the accidental death is recorded as a COVID death.

The mortality caused directly by COVID are on par with influenza at .02%... a survival rate of 99.98% for age <55!!

I chose to get the vaccine because I have asthma. Three weeks ago, I was having breakfast with my brother (who also got vaccinated), his son (not vaccinated), and the son’s friend (also not vaccinated). The restaurant was not busy and as a result, we were there nearly two hours at a very small table. Therefore, we were in very close proximity to each other. Two days later my nephew was diagnosed with Covid. A week later his friend was diagnosed with Covid. Neither my brother or I were affected. Was it the vaccine that protected us, or were we just lucky? Believe what you want, but I do believe the vaccine played at least some part in the reason we didn’t get Covid and they did.

I am completely against mandates. It should be a personal choice between patient and doctor. Just as those have a right to refuse, and should not be made fun of or punished; those that choose to have it should not be criticized for their decision either. It’s a personal choice. Everyone’s personal choice should be respected.

As far as side effects, all drugs have side effects (some people get them, others have no problem), some very serious; others not so much. One must weight the benefits against the side effects and made a decision. The important thing here is it should be the individuals choice.
