what police suspect may have been an attempted poisoning.I'm no doctor and didn't stay at a Holiday Inn but I'd say if you turned blue it was a lot more than an attempted poisoning.

Seven people have fallen ill after consuming a variety of food and drink from kitchens at Darmstadt Technical University in Germany, in what police suspect may have been an attempted poisoning.
If seven people turn blue in unison, would it be more accurate to say they were actually poisoned? I have never been able to turn blue, but I'll admit that would be a neat trick.
