Great, let’s send all 60,000 to his district.
Seriously folks we need to know how many of the 60,000 are interpreters and their family. Those guys are incredible and save the lives of our military and their teams will stand behind them. I would like to see them get settled near their team if possible. It will make the transition easier. I saw a translator who had several fingers and a thumb cut off by the Taliban because he worked for our guys.
I’d like to say more about your comment. I won’t. But over 2400 Americans died. They paid that debt.
There weren’t all that many interpreters in the grand scheme of things. Quite a few were tossed from the program for being sympathetic to the bad guys.
And the number wasn’t anywhere near 60,000.
And of them, it’s not like they speak English like you and me. Broken T best for most of them. Just enough to tell some grunt from the 82nd who the bad guys were and where they were.
