Our generation is dropping off one by one.
Never forget the Everly Brothers doing a concert for us sh!tbirds at MCRD San Diego 1965. Utterly amazing, at 17, I had never been to any concert, and then to have one of my favorites of my teen years give a free one.
Yeah, in fact, they’re a good bit earlier than our generation I think, but there’s plenty of examples of musicians born in the 1950s who’ve come and gone years ago already, such as Rory Gallagher, as well as replacement members of bands I’ve enjoyed since youth, such as Jethro Tull. :^(
