I booked a Royal Caribbean cruise for December, no vaccine was required. Ship sails in December, 12 days and the price was $1,200/person. On August 1st they issued a policy that all passengers have to be vaccinated and we canceled. As a side not we had to have the credit card company intervene because Royal did not want to refund our deposit despite a major policy change. Anyway, today the same cruise is selling for $850 per day person. Shows you what people think of vaccine mandates.
You were wise to use a credit card.
I’ve seen people have that issue with Cruise Lines and cash and check is not a winning side to be on..
With that credit card, you throw that fraud word around and it gets refunded a lot quicker..
And the fever may subside and these frightened corporations will turn 180 like they did before.
And the rates may be lower than before, like you mentioned.
1200 per for 12 days seems really good, too.
That is an industry that can’t afford to have empty ships..
They ain’t Disney that prints money
Probably enough sheeple to fill the boat. Sure hope no one comes down with the tau chi omega variant. ππ¨π²
A club I beliong to has a cruise scheduled for the end of January ...I have not decided if I want to go or not.. this demand by the cruise ships could be a game changer
β$850 per day personβ? How much for a night person?
