Online polls are generally worthless. Easy to manipulate by driving traffic from those inside ideological bubbles. And like Yelp ratings they attract people who are highly motivated to one side or another.
Still would be nice if 80% of Americans rejected these intrusions into personal privacy and restrictions on free and open access out of principle.
