“Many of us already have had it and have natural immunity.”

I’ll go be step further and say that I have natural immunity - even if I haven’t had covid.

Apparently, the speed with which >99% people recover from Covid19 suggests that our immune systems are already equipped to deal with it even before we are exposed.

The reason is that Covid19 is a coronavirus and is similar enough to other common Corona viruses that our systems recognize it and already know how to deploy antibodies within a couple days.

None of the countermeasures taken against this virus were necessary - except possibly for an extremely small high risk population.

The rest of us should have gone ahead and lived our lives - spread it like just another common cold Coronavirus.

But then Big Pharma wouldn’t be able to make billions in windfall profits, and Big Gov wouldn’t have been able to strip us of our rights and our votes.

I tend to agree, but I wonder why it doesn’t work for some. My older son and I tested positive for the bug, but never got sick. We both now have strong antibody counts 5 months later.

But my other son and my wife were hospitalized with COVID pneumonia at the same time. I wonder why they didn’t have the same immunity we had.
