It was a double bogeyman too when they tried to say even asymptomatic ppl could have it and give it to you simultaneously, so you couldn’t trust anyone!!!! Science apparently went out the window as far as viral load and shedding were concerned, but it was okay because....gotta get rid of Trump!
Yeah, what’s the old saying? It’s easier to con a man than it is to convince a man he’s been conned. Or words to that effect. Very true.
We had those symptoms, but also upper respiratory stuff and low-grade fever. I hadn’t been that sick for a while. The good news is that I have had no illnesses, not even a cold, since then.
My tagline.
So has one of my friends. Probably had it last December, even lost her sense of taste and smell.
I think Covid exists but the dx has been over applied on steroids!
If you haven’t got the jab, have you gotten the antibody test?
No In 2017 it was a particular brand of flu. They could not admit me, not enough room at the hospital. People in halls, Sent me home with a tanking PO2.
That is when I learned about being over 60 and triage.
Idaho is so healthy!
Great explanation of PCR tests in this video:

Have a friend who really doesn’t want her kids to be jabbed before returning to college so she had them tested for antibodies. They both had them.
Neither of them remember being sick, although one thought his allergies were worse last spring.
For the first time in history, recovered case are not counted in herd immunity.
“Follow the science” now translates to “Follow our narrative”.
I heard the other day the the Delta booster shot will become like the yearly flu shot.
“That is when I learned about being over 60 and triage.”
Watched an episode of Star Trek where they went to a planet and there people over 60 were less productive so were suppose to commit suicide!
Thought it was outrageous to think that a society would ever do something like that. I’m not so sure anymore.
My wife got sick around Christmas 2019 and I did on New Year’s Eve. Both of us were laid out 3-4 days and it took a couple of weeks to recover. I went to urgent care for a flu test on New Year’s and it came back negative. What I had didn’t feel like a cold, so I don’t know what it was.>>> same here. I want to get an antibody test to see if i had the covid. Also a local talk show host here was really laid up around the same time. I mean he was hospitalized.
I caught something in June of 2019 here in Mesa and laid on my bed for 25 days. I didn’t go past the end of my driveway the whole time except for a doctors appt.
NEVER have I been that sick, and NEVER have I been sick with anything close to that long.
It felt like death.
I had myself tested for ChiCom flu anti-bodies in August of 2020. They said I had none. I often wonder if whatever it was I had that the anti-bodies had long disappeared inside me.
Ding! Ding! Ding! Give that man (or woman) a cigar!
Everything was caused by covid last year. Nothing is caused by the clot shots this year.
Yeh, mostly the seasonal flu.
In Dec of 19 I was told I had walking pneumonia and “ there is a nasty chest cold going around”. Felt real bad for 3-4 days and sounded real bad for several weeks.
I got tested for antibodies about 2 weeks ago at Fry’s, but the test was negative. However, the pharmacist said the antibodies only last 3-4 months and since it’d been 17 months since I presumably had Covid, it would be negative. There’s another test that involves memory T cells which would definitively prove or disprove prior infection, but since only a doctor can order the test, it’s gonna have to wait until my next visit to find out for sure.
That might have been it. I was just never that sick before with a cold.
Very weird
