OK. So why does it take a week for a government agent to spray a hornet’s nest?
Why so long? They had to make and apply little masks for/to the hornies so the hornies would not get COVID!
“OK. So why does it take a week for a government agent to spray a hornet’s nest?”
They have to form a committee to nominate people to serve on the Murder Hornet Nest Eradication Committee.
They need to get a SWAT team together.
They are MURDER HORNETS after all.
They don’t “spray” it. They go in as a team with special suits that protect against that 1/4” stinger (”like a hot iron nail driven into your leg” according to someone that has experienced it) that Asian giant hornets have, and they vacuum up all of the hornets that leave the nest to defend it, then they cut the nest out of the tree (continuing to vacuum up hornets) and take it back to a lab to dissect and study. It’s a pretty involved process.
