Did you ever get lucky enough to get Covid and get natural immunity to it?
I’m not sure.
I have experienced mild cold or allergy symptoms once or twice in the last year-and-a-half - although I never had loss of taste or smell.
I never avoided contact with people (except during the lock-down period when I had no choice), so I assume I must have been exposed many times.
The reason I say that is that I really doubt any of Fauci’s rules ever made any difference - there were too many exceptions. For example, you couldn’t go to a restaurant, but you could still go to the grocery store where everyone literally touches everything. I couldn’t go to the gym, but my wife went to work at like the hospital throughout the shutdown. Etc., etc..
People wore masks except when they didn’t. Even if the masks worked, it was a joke because you took them off once you were seated.
But regardless of whether or not I’ve had it, I’m safe, right?
If I have had it, that’s good news - because I have natural immunity.
If I have not had it, that’s good too - I can still hope to catch it and become immune later. :-)
