One measure of how far Joe Biden's stature has fallen among liberals due to the disastrous exit failure from Afghanistan is how even many in the media that until recent recent publicly adored him, have now turned against Biden. And perhaps no better example of this is the harsh criticism of Biden by Atlantic magazine contributing writer Peter Wehner on Wednesday starting with the title of his article, "Biden’s Long Trail of Betrayals."

The U.S. Congress is the pinnacle when it comes to this stuff and they will do anything to protect theirs.
Biden was set up for this take down moment. Likely Jill sealed the deal with him, negotiating all along behind his back to sabotage her husband for asset and income security.

Even everyday libs on the street are pivoting to “well, it would have been FUBAR no matter who was running it” which is a HUGE admissions. That’s the kind of thing that Republicans usually do. Dems are accepting the premise! They have to! It is undeniably FUBAR. China and Iran are starting to press. I wouldn’t advise investing in land near the Russia/Ukraine border right now.
But now, in real time, televised everywhere, the United States appears to be the most incompetent superpower ever. The truth is that the reason they didn't have a better plan is that they thought that they didn't need one. They thought they controlled the narrative on whatever happened.

- He reverses everything that Pres Trump did, opens the borders, inflation as high as it’s been in decades. Doing everything the Left wants...amassing power, destroying the economy and doing what they can to make more folks dependent on the government.
- COVID was waning, things getting back to normal and then WHAM!!!!! the Delta Variant. We’re all gonna die. Except we won’t. But they keep on trying and trying and trying.

- Now they’re coming to the realization that this train wreck in Afghanistan can take them all down. Everything will be rolled into one. Things are not getting better in this country.
- Now we have people calling for the US take in 10s of thousands of Afghan refugees. Refugees that are illiterate, violent, share absolutely no cultural norm or values with us, have ZERO job skills and will have to be taken care of by the taxpayer. And that’s before they start giving birth to US citizens.
- If they start dumping on him now and eventually get rid of him, they can blame EVERYTHING on him. And whoever takes over, even if it’s Harris can come in and for the next 3 or so years, trip and stumble and fall and blame it all on him.
Just my lengthy 2cents.
I might make a note of this for when you get to be told how wrong you were. There are quite a few people who said covid was going to kill 2 million Americans in 3 months even though it actually took 2 years to kill 0.66 million Americans. They aren’t coming back to apologize and they aren’t worth the trouble of having their faces rubbed in it. So you might not be worth the trouble.
