Here’s more people who “think like a liberal” and “would make a fine serf”. Note the first sentence FROM THE SECRETARY OF DEFENSE:

“the Taliban are allowing U.S. citizens who have passports to get through.”

This is reality. This is what the situation is at this moment. There’s no “liberal” or “serfs”. You guys need to wake TF up.

FROM THE SECRETARY OF DEFENSE..

I think it would accurate to say that the Secretary of Defense is a liberal, and thinks like one at this point. Wikipedia noted that:

"Shaken by concerns of possible right-wing extremism among the troops, Austin on February 5 announced that every single unit of the United States military; Active, Reserve, and Guard would be required to stand down within the next 60 days in order to conduct "sensitivity" training.

Assuming anything reported by the media or the current administration is even close to accurate, very few people with US passports are getting through to the airport to be evacuated relative to the total number supposedly present in Afghanistan.

Hopefully the Taliban realize that letting Americans and others related to them out of the country is a good idea. But expressing weakness, gloom, and doom as some FR posters have done is, well, liberal thinking.

Reality can change in a moment when people act. Many of us don't have the attitudes, or ineptitude of the current administration.

Here is a bit more "reality" for you. Even the evacuation process is being done ineptly. Supposedly there are around 10,000 Americans in Afghanistan apart from the military at the airport. At 300 per day we're looking at another month of flights at the current rate.

"Overnight, 12 US Air Force C-17 cargo jets removed 2,000 people from the region - an average of just 160 people per flight, despite the planes being able to carry 600 people - six fewer aircraft than in the previous 24 hours. Since August 14, the US has only removed 7,000 people in total from the region. Only 300 of those who flew out were American"

"An Afghan-Australian trying to leave the country also told the ABC that it is 'not possible' to get to the airport today because there is 'lots of firing' and 'too many people' while Max Sangeen, a Canadian interpreter, said his wife and children - including a 20-day-old baby - are trapped in Kabul despite having proper documents."
