There are life forms that have existed for thousands of years virtually unchanged. e.g. cockroaches. How does this fit?
Evolution doesn't necessarily take place in a readily apparent manner (i.e., gross morphological changes). It can also be more subtle (biochemical / metabolic changes).
Are you an expert in cockroach anatomy? Are you qualified to examine a 200-million-year-old cockroach fossil and compare it with a modern cockroach and conclude that "no evolution has occurred?"
