What part of the city? We’re in Beddington, in the NW.
In Wildwood, on the south bank of the Bow River. My best friend and I would often go down the tall, wooded riverbank, cross the railroad tracks, and dip our feet into the Bow. We used to watch drive-in movies (at the Cinema Park Drive-In) from across the river. We used to pick wild raspberries and a few teeny wild strawberries on our way down to the river.
Gratitude for growing up in Calgary is often a part of my daily meditation.
