U.S. government-provided flights are departing. U.S. citizens, LPRs, and their spouses and unmarried children (under age 21) should consider travelling to Hamid Karzai International Airport. You should plan to enter the airport at Camp Sullivan. From the HKIA Airport South Traffic Circle, head east for 1km and turn right on to Camp Sullivan. Please note that gates may change frequently and that we will provide updates as necessary.

unconfirmed reports are that British troops are going into the City to rescue people but this is causing “Friction” with the US because it breaks the deal with the Taliban

All of the money we gave to Afghanistan is now safely in the French Riviera.
Prior to the Embassy closing, they weren’t guaranteeing the safety of any US citizen in Kabul, let alone all of Afghanistan.

This is so screwed up. Trying people to stay behind enemy lines, to cower, then it’s up to them to figure out how to safely get to the airport, think the government has really dropped the ball here. Biden should resign, so should the entire military leader ship that he has in place.
Is the rainbow flag still over our embassy? Somehow, I doubt it.
Would it not have been a good idea to have kept that second airport open? Can the Biden Administration do this any worse?
