Which Baptists?
Never seen two Baptists agree on more than 3 things, and I are one.
I read it a few years ago and was surprised because I thought the evangelicals were. But I thought about it and spoke to some Baptists and I concluded that they were right. It might have been The Economist. It was a drawing of a tree with all the Christian branches and twigs. Very interesting.
It makes sense to me because both Puritans and Baptists insist that members of their church live their life according to what they believe. You can’t go to service on Sunday and then screw around the rest of the week.
But other people said it was the concept of the priesthood of the believers. That should be a mark of every Christian however.
Maybe some Baptists can help out.
