Thank you all for your replies. My husband wanted to get the tablets from a US Pharmacy. There is a warning to customers in tractor supply that says you can die from taking the horse paste and there is a warning on the box that says not to eat horses that have been treated with ivermectin. Probably because they have worms.
I would like tablets from a US pharmacy. 125.00 for a pill that costs a dollar is ridiculous. There is no way I am paying that. Does Amazon sell the tablets?
Should I just say I got a worm?
No, say you have a dog. The dosage is more comparable to that of a human.
The warning on the horse paste is just to CYA since people have been turning to ivermectin. There are similar warnings on fish antibiotics, which are also identical in every way to “people” antibiotics.
There ARE some ivermectin medicines that have other medicines in them that are toxic.
The DuraMectin does not.
It is absolutely the same medicine as what comes in a tablet (it just is in paste form) and I personally used it without any ill effects. I just put it in a drink and shook it up.
I can’t tell you how it tastes, as my taste was gone at the time, but I’m used a pretty heavy dosing schedule and it worked fine.
worms, head lice, crabs, got any of that?
We got Ivermectin at CVS for around $40 per person. 14 3mg tablets each. Insurance covered it because it was COVID related.
