I’ve read, don’t know if it’s true, that we quietly pulled our intel assets (CIA, etc.) on July 1st. If true we’ve had no on the ground intel for six weeks.

Given the recent history of the Intel Community I’m not sure that’s a bad thing..

Earlier today I quoted a story from CNN that basically stated that. They evacuated almost everyone too early. They have absolutely no intel on the ground and are, in the State Dept.’s word, “blind”.
