I hope this is the start of a real revolt here.
This is another humiliating defeat for the United States, but I doubt very few Leftists/Biden voters feel even an ounce of remorse. To the contrary, they are probably celebrating our latest defeat.
Zero point zero chance of that happening.
Maybe four percent of the nation ever cared about Afghanistan because they knew someone deployed there or were deployed there themselves, and almost all of them knew anything about our involvement there already knew this was the only likely outcome of our two decades of throwing money at corrupt goatherders, regardless of who would be president at the time of the evacuation.
The only reason to be mad is how sloppily and ineptly it was handled by rank amateurs in the administration and perfumed princes in the pentagon, which has been on full display elsewhere for months and it's not moving the needle.
The administration has been holding hundreds of demonstrators in jails as political prisoners for months, most on nothing much more than trespassing charges - denying them access to the courts, evidence, humane treatment as unconvicted defendents, and have even denied access to their elected representatives to oversee fair adjudication of their cases.
If you can't get a revolt out of that, you aren't getting a revolt out of anything.
