Does anyone know if Quercetin is safe for someone on blood pressure medication? I was told it is made from grapefruit rinds. I have a family member that I think could really benefit from it with regards to psoriatic arthritis, but who is also on blood pressure meds and told to avoid grapefruit juice. She actually tried the Quercetin and said her inflammation was much improved after a few days, but then stopped due to fears of interaction with prescribed meds.

Most everything in life is a gamble and you have to weigh the risks against the benefits.

Quercetin, a plant pigment is a potent antioxidant flavonoid and more specifically a flavonol, found mostly in onions, grapes, berries, cherries, broccoli, and citrus fruits. It is a versatile antioxidant known to possess protective abilities against tissue injury induced by various drug toxicities.
