I’ve been to Casa Bonita twice: in 1976 and 2017. It seemed a lot bigger in my memories of going there as a kid, but it’s still a unique place that should continue operating.
The food isn’t bad, but it’s greasy-spoon, cooked-by-a-high-school-kid quality, and there is much room for improvement, as the new owners are aware.
I’m hoping they make a go of it, because I’d like to go there again someday if I’m in the vicinity.

The margaritas could definitely be improved upon .
I hope that they cleanse the place of the stench that was there.
