Very true, unless they can refuel somewhere or refuel in air.
Surprised the taliwhackers haven’t already shelled the hell out of the airport to block the exit. Before this is over, we may see, God forbid, American heads loped off. Praying for our Marines that have to go get em out.

Even the failed hostage rescue attempt in Iran needed a refueling place (Desert One) between Tehran and the Persian Gulf. Anybody discussing helicopter flights from Kabul needs to take a look at a map; their destination better be close by.
