I am 75, eat at McDonalds regularly and last week at 155 I was within 5 pounds of the weight when I left high school. They have great coffee. My favorite breakfasts are bacon/egg/cheese biscuit and sausage/egg/cheese McGriddle.

I don’t drink coffee, never once had a breakfast “sandwich” at McDonald’s and I do not eat bacon. Eat what you want, go where you want and don’t wast you time feeling guilty.

Thank you for your details on enjoying McDonald’s. As a 75 year old who is NOT within 5 lbs of my high school weight (partly due to thyroid but not all) I will try hard to continue liking you and not feeling resentful. Just kidding.

You must be one of those high metabolism people like someone I knew used to say about her friend :”She eats a big meal and loses a pound because of the arm muscle exercise of picking up the food to eat it.”

Bless you anyway.
