Dr. Anthony Fauci said on Thursday that he can't rule out people having to have COVID-19 booster shots indefinitely as the virus continues to surge.

In his interview on Thursday, Fauci also issued a stark long COVID warning for people with breakthrough infections - those that happen even when someone is fully-vaccinated.
He told Cooper that breakthrough infection sufferers are still at risk of long COVID, a term for those who suffer from lingering symptoms for months after their body clears the infection.
'Certainly if you get vaccinated and you get a breakthrough infection, you can get long COVID,' Fauci said.

The “vaccines” are working. They are a cure for Wuhan flu hysteria, not a vaccine for the flu. Hysteria sufferers who get the vaccine overcome their hysteria, drop their precautions and get the flu. The success of the vaccinations is measured by the number of vaccinated who get the flu.

Apparently pharmacies in N. California and other states are calling up patients/customers telling them to come in for their 3rd shot regardless of if they are immunocompromised patients. We know of 2 non immunocompromised couples who got these 3rd shots and one couple considering it.
The following from Kaiser clearly states who might need the 3 rd shot.

The Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines for individuals aged 18 and up
The Pfizer and Moderna vaccines are available as a 3rd dose for certain immunocompromised patients.
