Yes but with multiple comorbidities one is just as likely to die from the flu or pneumonia or something else along the way. So it’s always worth to see if there are other complications because most 36 year olds don’t have the other complications.
I’m of the opinion that the flu will not kill me even if I have some conditions but that Covid could very well be so strong that I could not overcome it.
I don’t equate Covid with the Flu so we may differ there. I have in my life had some pretty serious cases of the flu. I have not had Covid.
