For some reason, Brett Gardner is my favorite player EVER (savage that he is!), and I would love for him to get another World Series ring before he retires.
Brett Gardner is my favorite player ... I believe he's the oldest Yankee on the field and the last remaining one from the 2009 WS championship team. I like him for at least two reasons - great defensive player; still willing to play small ball.
My favorite player EVER - Willie Mays. Would love to see Giants / Yanks WS and 90 y/o Willie through out the first ball.
