The question that keeps occurring to a confirmed regime opponent like myself in this First Year of the Great Biden Era is this: What is really going on? Is the ruling class executing on a brilliant strategy to transform the political landscape for the next generation? Are they just fumbling along, trying to keep ahead of their wokist crazies? Or are they executing another of Baldrick’s Cunning Plans that will inevitably blow up in their faces?
Let’s look at Option One. The closest thing I have ever seen to a brilliant strategy is Bill Clinton’s 1992 “New Democrat” campaign: nobody here but us moderates. But HillaryCare proved that a lie, and so the voters gave us the first Republican Congress in 50 years. So “New Democrat” was just a tactic to win an election. Then there was the Emerging Democratic Majority from Judis and Teixeira in the early 2000s about the inevitable Democratic majority of the educated, the young, the women, and the minorities. How’s that coming along, dear Democrats, down on the border?
Of course, then there is Sundance’s Fourth Branch of Government theory, that ever since Obama, the U.S. has been ruled by the intelligence community that knows everything about us, and can send a Donald Trump to hell any time it wants. Maybe the lefties and the gumshoes think this is brilliant. I don’t. The whole point of politics is to have a safety valve to avoid civil war. So the whole place doesn’t blow up.
The Biden U-Turn on the COVID rent moratorium and the student loan relief extension and the continued unemployment bonuses suggest Option Two: trying to keep ahead of the peaceful protesters.

They were trained to lie in law schools, if not some before that too. Some are just natural liars. The only thing exceptional about the majority of them is their opinion of themselves.
Trapped in their own velvet cages.
They have everything and nothing.
They are full but empty.
The know everything but nothing.
There is sort of negative selection here. Kind of the undoing of capitalism.
The productive, hard working, smart and creative people go to private industry or work for themselves. They are too busy to care about the government, until it is too late.
The lazy nee-do-well go to the government. All they care are their plush jobs.
In long run, it developed in such a way, that we are governed by the worst sort of people, who should never be in charge.

Corrupt to evil.
Smart. They live high off the hog, on our money. They make laws but don’t follow them. They are not held to the same standard of conduct as normal people. They are laughing at us.
I think what will go down in history is how our Ruling Class, both parties (along with the elites of Europe), agreed that the way to bring freedom to China was to make the country wealthy, as wealthy people would demand more freedom.
Ended up that China’s government simply used that wealth to create a surveillance system never before seen in the world, so as to lock-in their power. And also used their wealth to create a blue-water navy and first-rate military, thereby ending 500 years of Western dominance of the world.
Of course a huge part of the fall of the West was self-inflicted, when we continued to permit labor unions to drive our manufacturing overseas (especially to China), but still, the elites, the people who have those confabs to give us a new world order and crap like that, should have known better regarding China (and no, they didn’t want this outcome, as they know they’ll be rounded up first).
This has the Davos types boxed in. They wanted a Neo-feudalist one world government run by themselves, but created a Frankenchina monster that is poised to rule it instead.
They are so, sooo close to implementing their big reset that they can't stop the train now, but don't really have a game plan to counter china's blowing up the trestle that was supposed to deliver the Western plutocrats to their planned castles.

That’s a GREAT POINT - the world is about to become a VERY UGLY place, but at least those of us still around will get to enjoy the Davos bunch being rounded up and ‘re-educated’ by China.

Demonically inspired evil.
Evil.
They just take advantage of all the dumb people.
They are not dumb. They are uninformed. They just don’t know, because they live in a bubble that has no contact with the masses.
That’s right because smart is not moral character.
Some of the most evil people in this world have been brilliant.
And honestly, I don’t think that many of the politicians these days are actually all that smart. They’re just easily corruptible.
Greedy is the right word.
Our ruling class is very, very smart. They have been deconstructing our country for 40 years or more. These are the same people who destroyed Russia.
