No, but lived very close to the border in WNY in the days when going to Canada was like going to the corner store for milk.

And there were a lot of Canadians who came to the US just as freely. Many worked in the US.

Yeah, my high school steady girlfriend's family was from Edmonton, Alberta. Her dad was the head chemist for the dairy coop in Tempe AZ where we went to school. Four sisters. All of them cute. I dated the cutest one for years. 😎

I could pick the Canadians out all over the valley by that distinctive "eh?" at the end of their sentences when you'd hear them talk.
