That seems like the most reasonable approach. Put in writing one’s concerns (as your link demonstrates). Put the ball back in their court to respond in writing. Will delay the process, and will provide some basis in legal action.

Agreed! They might even back off if they actually see what they could be doing to themselves. Try it and see what happens. You know what’s coming up anyway. Give it a shot and please let us know how they respond.
