Yep. We can handle this like smallpox. And it did come from animals, btw.
Dr Dan is none too bright, apparently.
Oh, rly? Which animals? At least in the last 10,000 millennia?
Geez, for a ‘technologist’ you sure have odd reading comprehension....
From Dr Dan....
Smallpox had NO animal reservoirs; the only thing it learned to infect was humans. Thatβs why we were able to make that virus go away.

As in....opposite of coronaviruses.
Small pox only infected humans....THAT is WHY they WERE ABLE to MAKE THAT virus GO AWAY.
Here....read this....
“...Smallpox is an infectious disease caused by the variola virus which infects exclusively humans. ...”
We see who the ‘not so bright’ one is, here. Now, stop posting your vax-troll drivel.
I guess your IT Tech School diploma missed a few important areas. Like Reading Comprehension.
Probably an African rodent of some kind.
I just read the following books on smallpox.
The last days of smallpox:Tragedy in Birmingham
Pox Americana
Demon in the freezer
Smallpox, the death of a disease
Smallpox, a history
The greatest killer, smallpox in history
American contagions
Dud you know that Abraham Lincoln had smallpox when he delivered the Gettysburg Address?
I mean he was quite ill and apparently wanted to not do it, but was encouraged by his staff.
Lots of good things in those books.
And yes, the general consensus is a rodent, probably way back there. Some mummies had smallpox.
Always with the insults here. Standard fare.
I dont require your approval. πππ
Actually monkey species have been infected with smallpox in labs.
And you should read up on how they eliminated it. Herd immunity did not work. Its an amazing story of heroes.
Meantime I suspect your none too bright Dr is a paid shill.
