When I try putting myself in his shoes, I begin to suspect he already is in Hell. How would I come to grips with the damage my hubris has brought into the world were I have to done what he did? Seems obvious he avoids the damning guilt of his conscious by buying his own propaganda even as it wears so very thin. Acting like a sage, and feeling like a trapped animal...the fake act he carries that is his fake self vs the truth ready to swallow him whole if he ever lets it.

I do not envy the man. He is in the lobby of Hell I have to think, and there is not much hope of him ever owning up before the grim reaper takes him all the way in.
