Pure ownage is right. But can you imagine in the 1770’s if someone got up and everyone waved their arms in “quiet” clapping??

I pray they vote all these people out and allow clapping and hear hears.

I used to think “hear hear” sounded terribly old fashioned until I realized how very close it is in words and meaning to “hear that!” or “heard that!” that people today say all the time.
