I know the genetic testing services provide % of Neanderthal genes. Do they do Denisovan genes now too? My mother’s family was Prussian, and my father’s British. I probably have some far eastern (Asian?) blood because eastern Europe was attacked by Mongols and others. My 2 lateral incisors have the shovel shape that Neanderthal teeth have. I wonder if Denisovan teeth also have that marker? My husband had light blue eyes, and mine were hazel. Both our sons have dark brown eyes. The only way I can figure it is that I must have dark brown recessive eye genes (probably far eastern) that were less recessive than my husbands very recessive blue eyes.
Your family eye color is similar to mine. My Dad had hazel eyes, Mom had blue/gray eyes. Older sister had hazel eyes.
Then I come along, “a cotton-top with black eyes” or so my mother said. They couldn’t figure it out.
My Dad was missing some of his permanent teeth, and I inherited that condition plus his B negative blood type.
Father’s people came from Alsace-Lorraine, mother’s were British.
